Website and Social Media Terms of Use

Minneapolis Public Schools and creates and maintains websites and social media accounts/pages for the purpose of sharing information and connecting with the school community. Web/social participants are expected to treat each other with respect.
  • Comments, posts, messages, or any content provided via our website or social media may be considered public records under the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act.
  • MPS is not responsible for user-generated content. The opinions expressed in user-generated content do not necessarily reflect those of MPS.
  • Comments or posts will be removed if they violate any MPS policy or regulation. Comments or posts will be removed if they contain vulgar or abusive language; pornography; personal attacks of any kind; offensive terms that target any specific race, color, creed, religion, national origin, gender, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, disability, sexual orientation, age, family care leave status or veteran status; terms that incite violence; election campaigning for a political office or ballot proposition. Comments or posts will be removed if they violate any platform or MPS's Terms of Use, are spam, are clearly “off topic,” divulge personal student or staff information or promote services or products.
