Students who attend Summer Scholars will have the opportunity to continue their learning through a variety of daily enrichment activities including: fine arts, science, sports, creative movement, and leadership.

Explore your interests and discover something new. Each Super Summer program is unique, providing you the opportunity to customize a schedule to meet your needs. Whether you are looking for a week-long class that fits into your busy schedule, a full-day summer-long camp to build a strong sense of community or something in between, we’ve got an option for you. We have programs for participants going into pre-K through 9th grade. Classes include fine arts, STEM, science, outdoors, sports, imagination, aquatics, technology and more.

Minneapolis Public Schools CDF Freedom Schools is a free summer program for students going into grades 1-9. Through the CDF Freedom Schools model, we empower youth to excel and believe in their ability to make a difference in themselves, their families, their communities, their country and the world with hope, education and action.

Celebrate summer with Minneapolis Kids! We provide fun, engaging summer care for youth entering grades K-7. We offer Full-day Care and Care Before & After Summer Scholars. MPS transportation is provided from Minneapolis Kids to Summer Scholars in the morning and from Summer Scholars to Minneapolis Kids in the afternoon.
