Sept. 15 through Oct. 15 is Latin Heritage Month where we celebrate the generations of Latin Americans who have made positive contributions to our society and culture. 

• Davis Center Art Gallery exhibit: Pontum for a Golden Cage features artists Hedgiee (Mexico) and Constanza Carballo (Argentina). Join us for opening night on Sept. 14 from 6-7:30 p.m. for refreshments and conversation and to meet the artists. 
• Latin Heritage Month Fiesta: Saturday, Oct. 7 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Green Central Elementary (3416 - 4th Ave. S.). Food, music, games and more! 
• Literacy event: Share about who you are and what makes you proud of your identity. You can submit video, audio, writing, poetry, music, art, and more. Submit by Oct. 4. Learn more.
