Child Nutrition Program COVID waivers issued by the federal government will expire at the end of the 2021-22 school year. This means that free lunches will not be provided for all students in the 2022-23 school year. Breakfasts will continue to be provided to all students at no cost.

 

All households should complete an application for educational benefits to determine meal costs and generate much needed funding for schools. Applications will be available in mid-July 2022.

 

All students will need to enter their PIN each time they take a school meal. Your child's PIN is their school identification number. If you do not know your child's school ID, please email info.cws@mpls.k12.mn.us or contact your school secretary. To prepare for this change, help your student memorize their PIN.
